The Trapiche Terroir Series Malbec Finca Orellana De Escobar is a creation from more than 50 years old vines. It has a red-purple color and a strong mineral character, punctuated by graphite and ink notes. The nose is intense and perfumed with violet and black pepper. Concentrated and juicy in the mouth, with tastes of bright fruit such as blackberries, currants and morello cherries. The finish is intense, long and lingering with ripe tannins.

The wine matured 18 months in new French oak barrels. Enjoy it with dishes prepared with red meats and game cooked in a plow disc, hard cheeses and smoked cold.

A wonderful wine from La Consulta in Mendoza. Luis Gutierrez writes in the „Wine Advocate“: “Some wines in the Terroir Series, which reflects the grapes of small suppliers throughout the province of Mendoza, are simply phenomenal.”
