Kleine Zalze Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc

The Kleine Zalze Cellar Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa's Western Cape is an aromatically multifaceted, dry white wine that perfectly combines freshness, fruit and elegance. The grapes come from Stellenbosch, supplemented by plots from Darling and Cape Town, which preserve the natural acidity of the grapes thanks to the cooling Atlantic breezes.

In the glass, the wine is yellow-green in color and seduces with an intense bouquet of tropical fruits such as pineapple, lychee and granadilla, complemented by ripe figs, gooseberries, fine grassy notes and subtle spice. On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc is tangy, lively and fruity, with the typical herbaceous freshness and an elegant, lingering finish.

Vinification is carried out with gentle treatment of the grapes, prolonged maceration and fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, followed by two months of ageing on the fine lees to preserve depth and complexity.

The Kleine Zalze Cellar Sauvignon Blanc is an ideal accompaniment to fish and poultry dishes, Asian dishes, vegetable variations or fresh salads and develops its full aroma at a drinking temperature of 8-10 °C. It can be enjoyed now or stored for a few more years to further develop its structure and fruitiness.

Kleine Zalze

Thelema Sauvignon Blanc
The Sauvignon Blanc from the prestigious South African winery Thelema is a prime example of the style of the Cape region: clear, aromatic, mineral and with remarkable freshness. Thelema has deliberately not aged this Sauvignon Blanc in wood. The fruitiness of the white wine should come into its own. You can look forward to a wonderfully refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with aromas of grapefruit and melon on the nose. Balanced, light and invigorating on the palate.Enjoy Thelema Sauvignon Blanc as an aperitif or with salads, oysters, scallops or chicken. A remarkable dry wine from the renowned winery, which only uses grapes from its own vineyards.

Delheim Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment
Delheim Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment has a fresh colour with a green tint. The wine shows complexity from the natural fermentation with an array of flavours. Grapefruit, orange and white peaches on the nose with subtle savoury and oak flavours. The refined and elegant palate shows restraint, with lengthy tannins and sweet fruit that will complement a variety of dishes. The grapes were handpicked, followed by crushing, de-stemming and gentle pressing. Only two thirds of the juice was settled with enzymes; the balance was taken directly to barrel for fermentation. One third of the blend was fermented cold in concrete tanks, the other two thirds in barrel. Only natural fermentation took place. The wine in the concrete tanks spent 7 months on the lees with the balance aging in French oak barrels for 7 months. A combination of 225 and 500L barrels were used of which 20% were new.Suitable for vegans.
