The wine critic admits that very dry port wines are not exactly his favourite wines. In this case, however, the taste experience convinced him.The port wine is a blend consisting of diverse grape varieties such as Malvasia Fina, Rabigato, Cadega and Viosinho. You’ll enjoy discovering this elegant and very harmonious Churchill’s Dry White as a sophisticated aperitif. It also goes beautifully with starters with mild cheeses, tangy cheeses and blue cheese as well. In addition, it is a wonderful accompaniment to smoked salmon, olives or roasted almonds.

The LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) 2017 matured for four years in large oak casks, leading to well-rounded tannins, simultaneously keeping its full body and fruitiness.The Churchill’s Late Bottled Vintage is a real delight simply on its own to finish off a meal. It also goes beautifully with chocolate desserts or tangy cheeses such as Stilton and Camembert as well.We recommend decanting this port wine two hours before drinking it. Please stand the bottle upright several hours before decanting it.

The grapes for this young Reserve Port from the Churchill’s estate come from the best Quintas vineyards. It is stimulating on the palate, with lots of natural acidity as well as a lovely balance.The Churchill’s Reserve Port was aged for three years in large casks. The port wine is a dark blackberry red in colour - it is a real delight simply on its own, but also an ideal, enriching accompaniment to dessert variations with fruit, chocolate desserts and soft cheeses as well.
