Der El Coto Blanco stammt aus der angesehenen Bodega El Coto de Rioja, die für ihre authentischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Weine bekannt ist. Als einer der beliebtesten Weißweine der Region vereint er die typischen Eigenschaften der Rioja: Frische, Fruchtigkeit und eine harmonische Balance. Dieser Wein wird überwiegend aus der Viura-Traube gekeltert, einer der charakteristischen weißen Rebsorten der Rioja. Die Trauben stammen aus sorgfältig ausgewählten Lagen mit kalkhaltigen Böden, die dem Wein seine feine Mineralität verleihen. Nach der Lese werden die Trauben schonend gepresst und temperaturkontrolliert in Edelstahltanks vergoren. Dieser Ausbau bewahrt die Frische und Fruchtaromen des Weins, während die natürliche Säure für Lebendigkeit sorgt. Der El Coto Blanco zeigt sich im Glas in einem leuchtenden Strohgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. In der Nase zeigt der Luis Canas Cosecha Tinto Rioja DOCa blumige und fruchtige Aromen, die am Gaumen wiederkehren. Er ist lebendig mit einem langen Abgang. Ein Rotwein, der auch leicht gekühlt hervorragend mundet.

The Spanish winery Pago del Rey has set itself the goal of producing quality wines with their own personality. The winery was opened in Rueda in 2005.The Pagos del Rey Blume Verdejo Viura Rueda DO is made from the Verdejo grape variety and a small proportion of Viura. Viura is often blended with other grape varieties to produce dry white wines with real character.The grapes are harvested at night at the beginning of October. The cool night-time temperatures allow the berries to retain their wonderful aromatic character. The must undergoes 6-8 hours of cold maceration to allow the wonderful aromas to come to the fore. The subsequent fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 14-17°C in stainless steel tanks.In the glass, the white wine is light yellow with green reflections. The bouquet offers intense aromas of ripe tropical fruit with a slight hint of citrus, elderflower and apple. These impressions are repeated on the palate. With well-integrated acidity and a gentle finish, a delicate wine has been created.The Pagos del Rey Blume Verdejo Viura Rueda DO is particularly suitable with seafood or salads at a drinking temperature of 8-10°C.
