Anima Negra AN/2 2023

Mallorca’s autochthonous grape varieties Callet and Manto Negro and a smaller percentage of Shiraz unite to create the AN 2. This outstanding red wine, produced by Anima Negra, offers intense notes of red berries in its bouquet, along with fine wood aromas and nuances of vanilla. The AN 2 is wonderfully fleshy, sumptuous and very fruity on the palate, with a lovely spice and an extremely long finish.It matured for 12 months in barriques (70% made of French and 30% made of American oak), of which 35% were new and 65% were barrels with a maximum of three fillings. The deep cherry-red wine is a worthy ambassador for Mallorca’s viticulture. You can look forward to a real taste experience that has already convinced wine critics all over the world.

Anthonij Rupert Syrah 2017

The Anthonij Rupert Syrah comes from strictly selected vines from the Franschhoek Valley in South Africa. A pre-selection is made as early as the hand-picking stage. Only the best grapes find their way into the wine. Both the fermentation and the subsequent maturation, which lasts an average of 21 months, take place in French oak barrels. The Anthonij Rupert Syrah was then bottled unfiltered and matured for a further 2 years. The red wine has a wonderful aroma of violets, plums, raspberries and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is amazingly complex but extremely multi-faceted. Beautiful fruity notes are in harmony with spicy notes and a gently integrated tannin structure. The finish is also juicy, balanced and convincingly long.For a long evening in front of the fireplace or as an accompaniment to a festive meal, you will hardly find anything better. Open the wine at least two hours before drinking and give it some time to develop in the glass.

Barahonda Barrica Monastrell Syrah DO 2022

The Barrica Monastrell Syrah comes from the Barahonda winery in the Spanish wine-growing region of Yecla. The blend consists of 75% Monastrell and 25% Syrah. The vines of this red wine are 40 to 45 years old and grow on calcareous soils at an altitude of between 500 and 800 meters. The Barahonda Barrica Monastrell Syrah has a ruby red color that shines bright and clear in the glass. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of ripe fruit, spices, light vanilla notes and some cedar wood. A strong minerality dominates the palate. A wine full of juice and power with notes of pepper and cloves. Matured in French and American oak barrels for a period of around 6 months, the finish is strong and round with a taste of vanilla and some leather.Try the Barahonda Barrica Monastrell Syrah with roast poultry, minced steak or paella. Der Benguela Cove Lighthouse Collection Syrah ist ein intensiver Rotwein aus der Walker Bay Region in Südafrika. In der Nase zeigt er sich mit einer üppigen Darbietung von Veilchen, Pflaume und Blaubeere, gefolgt von Nuancen von Leder, Tabakblättern und Kreuzkümmel. Binigrau Celler B Rosat 2023

Die Bodega Binigrau von der Mittelmeerinsel Mallorca hat sich über die letzten Jahre zu einem der erfolgreichsten Produzenten für Wein auf der bei Deutschen besonders beliebten Insel entwickelt. Die beiden Brüder Miquel und Matias Batle vinifizieren mit viel Herzblut außergewöhnliche Weine. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür ist der Binigrau B Rosat. Eine Rose aus der einheimischen Traube Mantonegro und einem kleinen Anteil Merlot hergestellt. Jede Sorte wird separat vinifiziert und ausgebaut. Nach einer kurzen Mazeration in Kontakt mit den Schalen beginnt die Gärung spontan, sorgfältig kontrolliert bei sehr niedriger Temperatur.Im Glas zeigt sich eine zarte, blassrosa leuchtende Farbe. In der Nase entfaltet sich eine breite Aromenpalette mit Noten von verschiedenen Beeren, wie Himbeere oder Johannisbeere. Dazu kommen intensive Noten von Pfirsich und weißen Blüten. Am Gaumen ist der Binigrau B Rosat elegant, fruchtig und weich. Sanfte Zitrusfrüchte, Erdbeeren und Grapefruit ergeben einen jungen, frischen und mineralischen Wein. Ein Rose mit beeindruckender Tiefe und Länge.Besonders geeignet für kräftige Speisen, wie Kalbfleisch mariniert, Austern oder Asiatisch scharf.

Binigrau Obac 2023

Der Binigrau Obac stammt von der spanischen Insel Mallorca und verkörpert die Essenz der mediterranen Insel und das Engagement des Weinguts Binigrau für höchste Qualität. Im Glas präsentiert sich der Binigrau Obac in einem tiefen Rubinrot mit eleganten Granatfarbtönen. Die Nase verströmt einen verlockenden Duft von dunklen Beeren und einem Hauch von mediterranen Kräutern und Gewürzen. Die sorgfältig ausgewählten Trauben, darunter lokale Sorten wie Mantonegro und Callet werden mit größter Sorgfalt vinifiziert und reifen anschließend für 14 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern. The Blason d'Aussières Corbières comes from the traditional Château d'Aussières wine estate, which is located in the heart of the renowned Corbières wine region in the Languedoc. This vineyard belongs to the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and combines first-class terroir with centuries of winemaking expertise. The result is an elegant and complex red wine that carries the essence of the Mediterranean climate.The cuvée is made from Syrah, Grenache Noir, Carignan and Mourvèdre - grape varieties known for their powerful fruit and spicy notes. The vineyards benefit from hot days and cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen optimally while retaining their freshness. After careful manual harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in order to extract the intense fruit aromas in the best possible way. Part of the wine is matured in French oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and a fine, elegant structure.In the glass, the Blason d'Aussières Corbières is a deep ruby red with violet reflections. However, anyone who can boast such qualities as an introduction to the wine world of Bodegas Mas Alta will leave connoisseurs amazed at what is yet to come. The highly talented French winemakers Philippe Cambie and Michel Tardieu, who are behind Els Pics Priorat, have created a cuvée that leaves little to be desired. 91 points from Guía Peñín, Spain's most important wine guide, and 90 points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate speak for themselves.The Spanish red wine from the slate-dominated Priorat region has a seductive aroma of red (raspberries) and, over time, increasingly black berries and figs. This bouquet is enriched by a pleasant spiciness (Mediterranean herbs) and nuances of cocoa and buttered toast. There is also a minerality characterized by slate.On the palate, the impenetrable ruby red Bodegas Mas Alta Els Pics is dry and balanced with an impressive emphasis on fruit. Ripe cherries, nuances of vanilla and the wonderfully integrated wood notes create an enjoyable interplay that is perfectly rounded off by an underlying minerality. Der Bodegas Mas Alta La Creu Alta zählt zur Spitze der spanischen Weinbaukunst. Auf den Schieferböden im nordwestspanischen Priorat wachsen die Reben für einen Rotwein heran, der von der internationalen Weinkritik schon länger gefeiert wird.Das Bouquet des Bodegas Mas Alta La Creu Alta ist faszinierend facettenreich. Es vereint Noten von roten Kirschen, Heidelbeeren, Johannisbeeren und Zwetschgen. Dazu kommen Noten von Nusspraline, aber auch eine tolle Mineralität (vom Schiefer) und Feuerstein sowie unterschwellige Röstaromen. Am Gaumen zeigt der trockene spanische Rotwein eine eindrucksvolle, fruchtige Frische, ist konzentriert und warm mit einer präsenten Würze und meisterhaft eingebundenen, reifen Tanninen. Die angenehme Säure und die charakteristische Mineralität prägen auch das Finale, das noch sehr, sehr lange nachhallt.Der La Creu Alta ist ein Meisterwerk, vom Guía Peñín, Spaniens bedeutendstem Weinführer, mit 95 Punkten ausgezeichnet. Auch Weinkritiker Luis Gutiérrez gibt dem Rotwein der Bodegas Mas Alta in Robert Parker‘s Wine Advocate einmal mehr als 90 Punkte. Er notiert aber ein „?“ hinter seine 92 Punkte. „Ich habe immer noch meine Zweifel, wie sich der Wein in der Flasche entwickeln wird.“Genießerinnen und Genießerinnen dürfen hoffnungsfroh sein. Denn noch bis in die späten 2030er-Jahre wird dieser Wein trinkreif sein. Und bei allem, was die Bodegas Mas Alta in der jüngeren Vergangenheit unter Anleitung der begnadeten französischen Winzer Michel Tardieu und Philippe Cambie kreiert hat, stehen die Vorzeichen auch für den La Creu Alta äußerst günstig.
