Paradiso Posta Piana Fiano Greco Puglia IGP 2023

Die Geschichte des italienischen Weinguts Paradiso begann 1950 in der Nachkriegszeit. Großvater Angelo Paradiso war einer der vielen Bauern, die Apulien bevölkerten. Er probierte sein Glück im Weinanbau und konnte sich 1954 seinen Traum mit dem Bau eines eigenen Weinguts erfüllen. Inzwischen wird das Gut in 3. Generation geleitet. Eine seiner Kreationen unter verschiedenen Rotweinen ist der Weißwein Paradiso Posta Piana Fiano Greco IGP Puglia. Eine angenehme Überraschung, die aus Fiano und Greco Trauben gekeltert wird.Die Reben für diesen Wein wachsen in verschiedenen Weingärten in Cerignola, das landwirtschaftliche Zentrum der Region Apulien. Hier sind die Böden Ton und kalksteinhaltig. Nach der Ernte werden die Trauben entrappt und in Edelstahltanks bei einer Temperatur von 10°C vor dem Pressen für 24 Stunden gelagert. Nach dem Pressen wird der Most ebenfalls in Edelstahltanks auf der Hefe bei einer Höchsttemperatur von 17°C vergoren. Ist die Gärung abgeschlossen, wird der Wein abgezogen und der verbleibende Trub (Rückständer der Schale oder des Fruchtfleisches) 4 Monate lange aufgerührt. Schließlich wird der Rebsaft gefiltert und in Flaschen abgefüllt, wo er einen Monat lang gelagert wird, bevor er auf den Markt kommt.Der Paradiso Posta Piana Fiano Greco IGP Puglia zeigt sich im Glas in einem strohgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. In der Nase ist der Weißwein intensiv und komplex, wobei blumige und fruchtige Noten überwiegen. Das Mundgefühl ist voll und der Abgang anhaltend mit einer ausgewogenen Säure und Schärfe. Es sind Nuancen von tropischen Früchten und ein Nachgeschmack von Zitrusfrüchten erkennbar.

Der Berater und Winzer Alberto Antonini arbeitet hier mit dem talentierten jungen Winzer Dennis Verdicchia, und gemeinsam gelang es ihnen, den Charakter der Trauben und des Gebietes einzufangen und in die Flasche zu bringen.
