Die Rebsorte Moravia Agria ist spätreifend und ertragsschwach und bringt hellfarbige und fruchtige Rotweine hervor. Vorteilhaft in Kombination mit der Garnacha Traube ist die fantastische Säure der Moravia Agira. Sie wirkt wunderbar ausgleichend zur Fülle des Garnacha. Die Farbe des Ponce Buena Pinta zeigt ein helles Rubinrot von mittlerer Dichte. Der Wein duftet intensiv, ja fast parfümiert, nach Pflaume, Kakao, Herbstlaub und Kirsche. Am Gaumen überzeugt die ausgedehnte Frische und das volle lebendige Aroma. Die Tannine sind etwas rustikal, geben dem Wein aber seinen unverwechselbaren Charakter. Der Ausbau in französischen Eichenfässern gibt diesem Rotwein eine ausgeprägte Würze und eine fast balsamische Note. Trotz des moderaten Alkoholgehaltes sollte der Wein mindestens eine Stunde vor dem Genuss geöffnet werden.

Genießen Sie den Ponce Buena Pinta zu einer selbstgemachten Paella mit Meeresfrüchten oder zu Geflügel auf thailändische Art.

We recommend 18 °C as the ideal drinking temperature.The Barista Pinotage from the Val De Vie vineyard is made from 100% Pinotage grapes from the Robertson region. The grapes were picked at optimum ripeness in mid-February and divided into different batches and treated in different ways.Certain batches were treated by short heating to optimize color and then returned to the skins for alcoholic fermentation. Other batches were pasteurized and immediately fermented on oak to achieve the dark, rich coffee flavors. Still other batches were fermented conventionally on the skins and pumped over several times during alcoholic fermentation and racked into French oak to complete fermentation. All batches were stabilized by malolactic fermentation in French oak.
