Terlan Lunare Gewürztraminer DOC

The Cantina Terlan Lunare Gewürztraminer has a wonderfully dense bouquet offering notes of lychee, grapefruit, lime and orange. These intense notes harmonise with further, more delicate nuances of candied rose petals and ginger. On the palate, this fascinating white wine from South Tyrol is sumptuous and elegant, with a complex structure. The brilliant, golden wine is dry, salty and supple.

Monica Larner awards the Cantina Terlan Lunare an impressive 93 points in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and assesses the Gewürztraminer as follows: ‘It also delivers an impeccable sense of balance with a high caliber of aromatic intensity that is softly tempered by the lasting elegance of the mouthfeel.’

You’ll enjoy discovering this exceptional taste experience with sweet and sour Asian dishes, for example. We especially recommend trying this wine with pumpkin gnocchi with walnuts, truffles and balsamic dressing or rice pudding with cinnamon. The Gewürztraminer is also a fine accompaniment to mild Gorgonzola cheese and poultry pâté.

Kellerei Terlan

Delheim Gewürztraminer offers aromas of orange blossom, Turkish Delight and litchi, backed by some zesty citrus notes. These flavours follow through on the palate. The grapes were handpicked, de-stemmed and only lightly pressed. The juice was settled overnight, then racked and inoculated with a selected yeast strain. Fermentation was done at low temperatures. The wine spent four months on the lees, after which it was lightly fined and sterile filtered.Enjoy this 100% Gewürztraminer now.
