The Château de Chemilly Petit Chablis unites notes of green apples, citrus fruit, white blossoms and fresh herbs in its bouquet, along with nuances of the flint that is so typical of this region. The wine is a shimmering light yellow with green glints in the glass.

It is dry on the palate, showing a great freshness, a fine acidity and an intense minerality as well. This is an impressively well-balanced Petit Chablis produced by Loïc und Yannick Vilain who create wines by letting nature take its course, thus authentically reflecting the terroir’s qualities.

The grapes for this wine come from old vines in the wine-growing area of Chablis: many factors interact to create a unique taste experience. The Chardonnay from the Chablis region offers notes of citrus fruit, white blossoms, brioche and hazelnut in its multi-faceted bouquet. It is dense and intense on the palate, with a characteristic acidity and a great freshness. Its finish is characterised by a defining minerality.In 1973, the family-owned Château de Chemilly estate was founded by Jean-Pierre and Philippe Vilain and is today run by Loïc und Yannick Vilain. The vines grow in a cool climate and produce dry white wines which show a pronounced acidity and lots of fruit. As a philosophy, the winery intervenes as little as possible in the production process of the wines, so that wine connoisseurs enjoy discovering the wines’ unadulterated Chablis character.

Seit mehr als 40 Jahren baut das Weingut Château de Chemilly Wein in den verschiedenen Appellationen von Chablis an.Chablis ist der nördlichste Teil des Burgunds und eine der bekanntesten Weißweinherkünfte Frankreichs. Das Weinanbaugebiet ist geprägt von Kreide- und kalkhaltigen Böden, die dem Wein eine gewisse Mineralität verleihen. Die meist angebaute Rebsorte ist Chardonnay, aus der der Chablis erzeugt wird. Der Château de Chemilly Chablis 1er Cru Grande Réserve ist eine Cuvée, deren Trauben aus den Lagen Vosgros und Vaucoupin vereint wurde.Der französische Weißwein leuchtet in einer grün goldenen Farbe. Wunderbare Aromen von Zitrusfrüchten, Zitronenschalen, Äpfeln und Birnen umspielen die Nase. Am Gaumen ist der reinsortige Château de Chemilly 1er Cru Grande Réserve intensiv und komplex mit einer angenehmen Säure. Sein Abgang scheint endlos zu sein.

The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality.
