Print product information sheet

The Codorniu 1872 Brut is made in homage to the first bottle of cava in history, created in 1872 by Josep Raventós and a distinctive blend of the grape varieties Xarel-lo, Parellada and Macabeo. The Cava, the traditional Catalan sparkling wine, combines the gentle fruitiness of Xarel-lo, the elegance of Parellada and the structure of Macabeo. The grapes come from Catalonia's most important wine region of Penedès, which is not far from Barcelona.

The Cava has a pale yellow color. On the nose aromas of citrus and almonds. There are also hints of honey and toast. On the palate creamy, balanced and just fresh.

Enjoy the sparkling wine from the producer Codorníu, whose history began in 1551, as an aperitif or with seafood dishes.

Zenato Valpolicella Superiore
The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance). This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.
