This traditional Spanish sparkling wine has a brilliant yellow color with green hues and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, citrus notes and flavors of tropical fruit, wonderfully complemented by toast and brioche, so that the Cava offers a nice complexity. On the palate, creamy and long lingering.

The creation of 70% Chardonnay, 15% Parellada and 15% Xarel • lo and Macabeo was matured more than 12 months in the bottle.

Enjoy this Cava to fish, grilled meat or even desserts.

The Codorniu 1872 Brut is made in homage to the first bottle of cava in history, created in 1872 by Josep Raventós and a distinctive blend of the grape varieties Xarel-lo, Parellada and Macabeo. The Cava, the traditional Catalan sparkling wine, combines the gentle fruitiness of Xarel-lo, the elegance of Parellada and the structure of Macabeo.
