The Ramos Pinto Late Bottled Vintage is a deep, unfathomable red in colour. The port wine has an intense bouquet offering notes of ripe blackberries, red currants, cherries and dark chocolate, complemented by lovely nuances of pepper and menthol. This blend, mainly consisting of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and smaller percentages of Tinto Cao, is very elegant on the palate. The silky tannins and the great fruitiness unite in a well-balanced interaction. The lbv (late bottled vintage) port wine is full-bodied, showing a great freshness and power and a delicate finish as well.

This port wine, also from the venerable Ramos Pinto estate, was aged in the historic wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia, a city located along the banks of the Rio Douro River across from Porto.
