Bishop's Leap Pinot Noir

The Pinot Noir has a light carmine red color in the glass. The nose reveals typical Pinot Noir aromas of cherry, red berries and notes of tasty mushrooms. On the palate, this red wine from New Zealand has a light to medium body, it is an "easy drinking" Pinot Noir with a soft, round taste, well-balanced acidity and long-lasting aromas. Black cherries and currants dominate the taste, supported by a hint of plums and forest floor.

The grapes for this wine come from a selection of different sites in Marlborough. The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness and only selected yeast strains were used for fermentation. The wine was gently pressed and transferred to a mix of stainless steel and French oak for malolactic fermentation and maturation.

Enjoy Bishop's Leap with red meat, pasta dishes or grilled tuna.

Marlborough Valley Wines
