Sourced from the Eden Valley, this elegant wine is made from pristine, flavour ripe bunches, gently pressed and cool fermented.

Most components remain un-oaked for freshness (70%) while some are finished in French oak (30%) for complexity as well as undergoing secondary malolactic fermentation to soften natural acidity. This wine exhibits fresh, full fruit flavours, fine structure and a dry finish.

Wonderfully aromatic with white peaches and honeydew melon dominating the nose with a lovely dose of green apple freshness and a touch of spicy oak in the background. Nectarines join the party on the palate with limy acidity and a lovely custard like mouth feel. The oak is very subtle and provides the texture and a touch of supportive spice. Parcels of fruit are selected from our vineyards in the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. Once they have been gently crushed, the grapes are basket pressed to softly extract the juice from the skins. 60% of the juice is partially or fully fermented in a mixture of older French and American oak to add a touch of spice and mouth feel. Once fermentation is complete the winemakers taste all batches to determine which will suit this gentle and fruity style of Chardonnay.Whether drinking on its own or with a fresh plate of seafood, salad or chicken you can’t go past this little gem.

Der Langmeil Orphan Bank Shiraz ist einer der besten Rotweine von dem Weingut Langmeil. Dieser trockene Wein ist perfekt geeignet für Feinschmecker, die möglichst wenig Süße im Wein schmecken wollen. Im Bouquet des australischen Rotweines finden sich Noten von Brombeeren, Heidelbeeren und Pflaumen kombiniert mit Vanille, Bitterschokolade und Zimt. Im Glas zeigt der besondere Wein eine leicht dunkle rote Farbe. Wenn er erstmal am Gaumen angelangt ist, entfaltet dieser Wein seine fruchtige Seite. Im Abgang wirkt dieser Shiraz würzig.Die Herkunft des Weines liegt in Australien, in der Region Barossa. Dort werden die Reben per Hand ausgelesen und sofort gepresst.Der Langmeil Orphan Bank Shiraz ist ein reinsortiger Shiraz, der sich am besten mit Gemüse oder Rinderfrikadellen essen lässt.
