Auch der 66. Jahrgang dieser Schaumwein-Ikone, die erstmals 1810 kreiert wurde, ist eine Offenbarung für die Sinne. Noten von kandierter Aprikose, Feigen, Trockenobst, Honigtrüffeln und Mokka vereinen sich mit angenehmen Röstaromen sowie Nuancen von Vanille und Muskatnuss (durch den dezenten Einsatz von Holz) zu einem betörenden Bukett. Sie schließen sich an einen frisch-salzigen Auftakt an.

Am Gaumen ist der Veuve Clicquot Vintage in Geschenkpackung frisch, lebendig und harmonisch. Die Aromadichte ist faszinierend, geprägt von Noten von Mirabellenkuchen, kandierten Zitrusfrüchten und gerösteten Birnen. „Schließlich finden sich pikante Noten von Haselnüssen und Mandeln. Die Struktur, das Markenzeichen der Vintage-Cuvee, ist in sich stimmig, wobei der Pinot Noir auf wunderbare Weise die Basis bildet“, schreibt Veuve Clicquot.

Mit 51% dominiert Pinot Noir die Cuvee. Er stammt aus Grand Cru- und Premier Cru-Lagen aus der Montagne de Reims und dem Vallee de la Marne (Verzy, Verzenay, Ludes, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Tauxieres, Avenay und Aij). Der Chardonnay (34%) stammt von der Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Vertus), der Meunier (15%) aus der Montagne de Reims (Ludes) und dem Vallee de Ja Marne (Dizy).

Was dieser Rosé-Schaumwein in der Nase und am Gaumen bietet, ist seit Jahrhunderten großartig.Das Bouquet des Champagner Ruinart Rosé Brut ist herrlich animierend. Es vereint delikat-frische Noten von exotischen Früchten wie Guave und Litschi mit anregenden Noten kleiner roter Früchte wie Himbeeren, Kirschen und Walderdbeeren. Noten von Rosen und Granatapfel runden den komplexen Duftstrauß ab. Frédéric Panaïotis, Kellermeister von Ruinart, erkennt „dezente Fruchtaromen mit einem Hauch Kirsche und Noten von frisch gepflückten roten Beeren“.Am Gaumen ist die edle Assemblage aus Chardonnay und Pinot Noir schmackhaft vollmundig und faszinierend frisch. „Herrlich frisch am Gaumen entfaltet dieser Rosé eine geschmeidige, runde und seidige Struktur mit intensiven Aromen roter Früchte, milder Würze und einem Hauch Minze“, urteilt Panaïotis. Production area: Selected vineyards of Neviera and Casa Rossa, located in San Marzano district. The soil is mainly “terra rossa”, with a fine texture and generally a calcareous undergound with a few emerging rocks. The well-known redness of these soils is due to the presence of iron oxides.
