Ein Riesling aus Kalifornien. Das ist ungewöhnlich aber nicht unmöglich wie der Wente Riverbank Riesling aus den Weinbergen in Arroyo Seco Monterey beweist. Er hat die von Natur aus schönen, blumigen und tropischen Noten eines Rieslings ist stilistisch aber voller als man es von deutschen Rieslingen kennt. In der Nase zeigt er Aromen von frischem Jasmin, Mandarinen und etwas Birne. Am Gaumen hat er eine gute Balance zwischen leichter Süße und ausreichender Säure. Der Wein wird kaltgepresst in Edelstahltanks vergoren, um die natürlichen Aromen von tropischen Blumen zu erhalten. Danach reift er für sieben Monate in Edelstahltanks.

The fruit for Sandstone Merlot comes from a gently sloping formation of hills running along the southeastern corner of the famous Livermore Valley. The Wente family’s hillside Merlot vineyards deliver fully ripened fruit with exceptional depth of character.With a smooth mouthfeel and inviting tannins, this Merlot exhibits flavors of strawberry, cherry, blackberryand fig with hints of toast, brown sugar and spice, with a long luscious finish.Each varietal was harvested separately and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine was pumped over twice daily to increases the color and tannin extractions and improves mouthfeel through the integration of oxygen. Aged for 20 months in French and American neutral oak.Enjoy this wine for grilling, with a chicken menu or with cheese.

This Pinotage from the Coastal region in South Africa is a fine taste experience. It has a multi-faceted bouquet hinting of plums, berries and bananas, complemented by aromas of coffee and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, medium-bodied, velvety and fruity. This pure varietal Pinotage comes from vines between 14 and 18 years old. The red wine from the venerable Windmeul cooperative was aged for 12 months in second- and third-fill French oak casks. The Windmeul Pinotage is an ideal accompaniment to game, marinated lamb and cheddar or blue cheese with figs.

On the palate, the Trenz Steinhaus is juicy and soft with an almost sweetish fruit. The fine acidity is reflected in a fresh lemon aroma. The long finish is characterized by multi-layered mineral traces. A wonderfully vinified German Riesling that shows the finesse of the 40-year-old vines around Johannisberg.The soils of the Trenz Steinhaus Riesling are interspersed with Taunus quartzite and have a very high rock content under a layer of soil around 10 cm thick. The Eiswein Goldmuskateller from the Tschida winery is a true masterpiece of Austrian sweet wine tradition. It comes from Seewinkel in Burgenland - a region that is internationally renowned for its climatically favorable conditions for noble sweet wines.Ice wine, the special form of sweet wine. The grapes are harvested at a minimum of -7 degrees Celsius and are pressed and fermented immediately. Tschida Goldmuskateller Eiswein has a light golden yellow color.
