The Lunatico Primitivo Puglia IGP is a typical representative of this popular grape variety from the hot south of Italy. The grapes come from selected vineyards in Apulia and are processed gently. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the intense fruit, while a short maturation period gives the wine suppleness.A deep ruby red in the glass. Aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, black cherries and a hint of vanilla fill the nose. On the palate, the Primitivo is full-bodied, soft and harmonious with fine spice and velvety tannins.Ideal with pasta with strong sauces, grilled dishes, braised meat or spicy cheese. Pizza is also an excellent choice with this fantastic wine. The optimum drinking temperature is 16-18 °C.
